Today we are going down to Texas to meet an amazing young talent.
Kelsey Lewis the latest Texas songbird to grace our pages.
Ahh Texas where the musicians are so talented, and the Politicians ain't.
Kelsey is a 19 year old Texas Singer Songwriter from Dallas/Fort Worth. She has been singing and performing since she was 6 years old. She has performed on many stages.... The Palladium Ballroom, The House of Blues, Poor Dave's Pub, The Opening Bell Coffeehouse, Arlington Music Hall, The Legends Game, Lonestar Coffee Bar, 2012 Texas GOP Convention, and many others. She got the unique opportunity in 2011 to sing for the judges of the X-Factor!!
She started writing her own music at the age of 13. She recently released her first album, Beautiful View, on July 2, 2013. She writes about life, what inspires her, what challenges her and about what it feels like to be in love. Her style of music changes with her mood. But, she tends to write and sing with a jazzy, soulful, playful style.
What this bio doesn't say is that Kelsey has an awesome voice.
That she is an extremely talented singer songwriter.
Just listen to a few of her songs and you will appreciate just how good she is.
So enough of the waffle, let's get to the music.
This is the current single from the album Beautiful View, and Kelsey's first official music video. It is yet another example of Kelsey's fluent beautiful songwriting skills.

Here Kelsey gives some insight on the making of her new album.
This was made last week.
BTW: for a limited time you can get a free sampler download from this album at Noisetrade.
This was the first single from the album, back in March this year.
Kind of a preview with a still rather than video.
But that does not distract from a beautiful song.
Check out this wonderful Jason Mraz cover by the beautiful Ms Lewis.
Everything Is Sound
Kelsey Lewis performs her cover of the song "Everything Is Sound" originally performed by Jason Mraz.
Zach Lewis on cajon and Hank Bentley on acoustic guitar.
Now here's a wild one from Kelsey at the Wildcatter Superstar semis.
Despite a malfunctioning microphone, (our theory is that it couldn't handle how hard she was rocking this song) Kelsey wowed the judges and breezed through to the finals! Which she won, of course.
And finally today here's Kelsey leaving Paula in her dust.
Showing the power of her jazzy rendition.
