Scanners is a new band to me. But that's my bad. They make wonderfully eclectic music.
Scanners was formed seven years ago in London's Camden Town. Having written several albums worth of songs and getting frustrated with not being able to move on they decided to make their first album themselves! The result was 'Violence is Golden' which was recorded in the bedrooms of different flats as they moved around the city.
Scanners new album 'Love is Symmetry' will be released early in 2013.

Check 'em out, I think I may have just found a new fave group.

I just love this track.

State Of Wonder Scanners return with their slow burning epic 'State of Wonder'. A beautiful hymn to the river that runs past their home in East London, the river Lea. The video was filmed on the river in the fall. Scanners commandeering their friends canal boat for the job. The film ,shot by Amer chadha patel, flows gently with the music till its uplifting climax.

Check out this beautiful song from the AllSaints Basement Sessions, in Spittlefields.

Here's another from the AllSaints Basement Sessions.

Baby Blue

Jumping in the wayback machine we can see their first ever music video. Apparently banned by some music stations due to content?

Here's another earlier video, love the raw talent.

Video by Chiara Ambrosio for the single 'Lowlife' taken from the first album Violence is Golden — at South Coast UK.

Finally today a track from their second album. Shades of Blondie.

We Never Close Our Eyes

Video by Steven Andrew Garcia For the single from the second album 'Submarine' — at Los Angeles.
