Alex G

Today we have the pleasure to meet a beautiful young unsigned singer songwriter from Colorado.

Unsigned? Once you hear her then you will be adding the same question mark.

Alex G has an amazingly warm tone to her voice.

Alex is approaching the magic age of 21, or maybe just passed it. But this much talent means an awesome future has to be in store.

Give her a listen and you will be hooked, as I am.

First up a beautiful original song from Alex, let her warm mellow tone engulf you.

OK so now time for a cover, but what a cover. If you are good then you cover the best, and everybody enjoys it.
This is no exception, in fact this is fantabulous.
One of my favorite tunes, this is one of my favorite versions.

Don't Know Why
Alex G writes: "Hey guys! Super excited to collaborate with Snuffy Walden on this video! If you don't know Snuffy, he created the music behind some amazing television shows like Friday Night Lights, The West Wing, The Wonder Years and Roseanne. I hope you enjoy our video!"

Recorded at Taylor Made Studios
"Don't Know Why" is a song written by Jesse Harris which originally appeared on his 1999 album, Jesse Harris & the Ferdinandos. It was the second single by Norah Jones from her breakthrough 2002 album Come Away with Me.

Here Alex is joined by a few friends for another cover, but this is a very different acoustic version of the Swedish House Mafia tune.

Don't You Worry Child

Her friends are Chester, Andrew Garcia and Andy Lange

Time for another original tune, this girl is unstoppable.
She's beautiful, with an amazing voice and songwriting props that just go on, and on.

This is the first song Alex ever wrote. Amazing for one so young.

And finally today we have this amazing cover of one of my favorite Stevie Nicks songs.
