Brisbane, Australia indie rock duo The Grates will be releasing their third album, Secret Rituals, in the US on July 10, 2012 on Vagrant Records.
We featured some samples from it about a year ago.
Previously released in their native Australia to immense critical and commercial success, Secret Rituals has an American pedigree. Singer Patience Hodgson and guitarist John Patterson moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2010 and over a period of 18 months wrote all the songs for Secret Rituals.
The Grates then recruited local drummer Ben Marshall to join them to record the album, which was produced by Gus van Go, Werner F and The Grates at Boiler Room Studios in Brooklyn and mixed at Electric Lady Studios by John O'Mahoney.
So because it never gets old a repeat performance of this classic.
