Anita Nicole

Today we get to feature the debut video for a young artist named Anita Nicole.

She is currently a student at The Brit School in London, which is the school famed for performers such as Katie Melua, Leona Lewis, Jessie J, Adele and Amy Winehouse. To namedrop just a few of the greatest voices  to come out of the UK in recent years.

Anita Nicole certainly fits right in there with that caliber of talent.

I would class her new single as a Jazz influenced ballad, and not only does Anita produce a brilliant singing performance of that genre she also wrote the song. Amazing.

Watch out Anita could be the next big thing.

Did I mention she is cute.

Step back a few months and check out her beautiful cover of the Sam Cooke classic.

A change is gonna come Anita says about this song: "This is one of my favourite songs. I love Sam Cooke and the way the song is beautifully written. It's a classic and holds a powerful message. Music needs to come back to being as meaningful as songs like these!"

This is a real cool cover of a real cool song, if you've ever watched "How To Make It in America" on HBO you will understand what a catchy song this is.

I Need A Dolla' Anita again: "I always find myself singing this song. I like this artist (Aloe Blacc) because he has a soul influence and this song is really catchy."

Let's close out today with a glimpse of Anita at the Brit School in London performing a Beyonce song.

Work it out
