Monks of Mellonwah

In Europe the monks make liqueurs, in the land down under they make music.
But is it a coincidence that the first video here mentions spirit? :0)
The Monks of Mellonwah who hail from Sydney, NSW are:

Will Maher (vocals)
Joe de la Hoyde (backing vocals/guitar)
John de la Hoyde (bass)
Josh Baissari (drums)

A four-piece alternative rock and indie band based in Sydney, the Monks of Mellonwah draw on a variety of influences driving each member to create a fresh and unique sound, blending elements of classic blues & rock with modern indie and alternative rock.
Their first E.P., Stars Are Out, is testament to such a unique blend, and has been highly praised since its release in 2010.

Now their amazing new EP Neurogenesis is ready to cut a swathe through the rock world. It was released on May 24, 2012. Contributing to the new EP were Grammy Award winning producer Jeff Bova (Michael Jackson, Billy Joel), Ryan Miller (RM Music) and renowned engineer Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers).

"Neurogenesis" features 4 alternative rock tracks which explore a range of concepts from Oppenheimer and the creation of the atomic bomb in 'Neurogenesis' to the longing for life in 'Neverending Spirit'.

So check out some of their music and see if you don't agree as to how good they are.

Shades of Californication, and that's in a good way.
Neverending Spirit Neverending Spirit is the second track on the Monks of Mellonwah's new EP - Neurogenesis.
