Erin K & Tash

Now here is a fresh sounding group. They appear to hail from all over, but seem to be grounded in my old stamping ground of the East End.  The group is Erin K & Tash.

The complete band line up is as follows:

Erin Kleh & Tash Terbraak - vocals, guitar, ukulele + bass
Paul Durbin - percussion
Lereese Atkinson - BVs
Jose Albela - lead guitar + ukulele
Simon Lewis - cello

Erin K is Erin Kleh and just a few years ago she picked up a guitar and began writing autobiographical songs that earned her a reputation in the London anti-folk scene. Tash Terbraak became Erin K's Tash after seeing Erin's classified ad, recruiting a band, on a London alley wall. Together they have developed their own style of folk, with songs touching upon subjects like sex dolls, hybrid animals and relationships (and casual relationships).                       [Facebook]
This has to be the best pop (OK anti-folk) song I've heard in a long while, and if I heard it right it is not on the forthcoming release!

This could have been the song of this summer. Amazing.
Keep Her

PJ and Duncan, Sonny and Cher, Mario and Luigi - all the worlds greatest come in twos. Here's Erin K & Tash (and some talented friends) with 'Keeper'.
Check out: Erin K & Tash live all around town, starting with East London this weekend!
Hey Bro, if you get to see them let me know.

Cool video for another cool song, this was their first single.
Coins

Not sure why she doesn't want to like you, but then again maybe she does.
I Don't Want To Like You

Who ever thought cupcakes could be sexy?
The Sexy Cupcake Ditty We're back on the green couch and this time with blue cupcakes and a "sprinkle girl" (Lereese)!

Not sure why the cat doesn't get billing?

Sorry I'm Not Black Complete with lyrics. This is from a gig at the Hoxton Underbelly, 17th November 2011 ('Coins' single launch gig)

Finally today, as I said about the first video that song is soooooo good, so I just had to have a live version from a recent gig.
Keep Her Erin K & Tash performing "Keep Her" for Daylight Music live at Union Chapel, London on May 19th, 2012.
