Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the nom de guerre of Danielle Anderson, who is an awesome young songwriter with a wicked sense of humor.
Some have dubbed her as "Joni Mitchell meets Sarah Silverman". To come up with a name like Danielle Ate the Sandwich implies a quirky sense of humor to me. So cool.
Obviously Danielle is a well organized self starter who tours the nation, licenses songs to TV shows and really understands todays media.
But over an above all that what it comes down to is the talent. And that is abundant.
First check out four tracks from her new album, Like A King. The album would make a worthy addition to your library.
Let's start with the title track from the new album.

Two Bedroom Apartment is Danielle Ate the Sandwich's third project and first professionally recorded studio album. The songs are in stride with her previous works, lyrically driven with a simple composition and presentation. Two Bedroom Apartment marks Danielle's first use of accompaning instruments that help to color her songs and compliment her storytelling.
