Juliet Simms is the last woman standing on The Voice, thus exposing the one flaw in this show. That flaw is that it always has to be one from each team in the final, thus we end up with three men and one woman in the final.
And the sad part is that the best remaining male singer is not in it, simply because he was on the same team as the powerhouse that is Juliet Simms.
There have been some strange decisions on this show either by the "coaches' or the public, but one of the most egregious this year was to let go Charlotte Sometimes.
I had talked about a couple of last years contenders previously they being Beverly McClellan and Dia Frampton both of whom showed up for the semi final night this year.
When this series is over, win or lose, Juliet is going to be out there competing with the likes of Grace Potter and Florence.
I have enjoyed her performances since the beginning of this show.
This is her brilliant rendering of the James Brown classic that finally convinced the voters she was the best there is on the show.
It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World
And this version of the Police classic goes right up there with my favorites. Roxanne
Look out Stephen Tyler.
Check out her unique take on this classic song.
Before The Voice, and maybe after Juliet was/is part of Automatic Loveletter an American rock band band formed in Tampa, Florida, in 2007.
The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Juliet Simms, her older brother and lead guitarist Tommy Simms, drummer Ryan Metcalf, and bassist Clint Fowler.
Here is a powerful live performance of an amazing song.
Hush There is also a pretty cool video from six years ago, Hush by Juliet Simms directed by Luke Watson, which is sadly Embedding disabled by request. Which we all know I hate that status, but the video is great.
Another great live performance in Automatic Loveletter, talk about hot, this at Van's Warped Tour in Camden, NJ on July 16th, 2010.
Last one for today, but by now we can see that Juliet is going to be The Voice to contend with in the future.
Don't Let Me Down Not sure where it is but it was June 25th, 2010
