Katrina Stone

When Katrina Stone set her pen to paper to begin writing the first track off of Spellbound, she had no idea where it would take her. 5 years and several shows later, she has finished that album that was so many triumphs and defeats in the making. The Colorado-based singer/songwriter always had an affinity to be an artist, as evidenced in her early classical training through steady diet of vocal powerhouses Kelly Clarkson, Ingrid Michaelson, and Sara Bareilles. Couple those influences with Stone’s own powerhouse pipes and lyrical vulnerability, and she’s become one of the most unique and inventive acts of tomorrow. Aside from these diverse elements of seasoning, Stone’s been a veteran in the industry, from singing on the Warped Tour to performing on TV and radio. But this latest effort raises the tunesmith up to an even more elite dimension, from the ability to express herself with truly personal abandon to a cutting edge approach on the project’s sonic landscape.

Katrina sings like she's really enjoying life, too cool to meet such a happy person.

Somebody's Somebody Too cute, that's Katrina's daughter in there.
