What could be better than some Classical crossover for a quiet Sunday afternoon. I started this one yesterday, and then the power of coincidence cropped up, Katherine Jenkins sang the national anthem at the opening of the Bears vs Buccaneers game at Wembley. Funny how that stuff happens. For any who don't know here Katherine Jenkins is a Welsh mezzo-soprano. She is a classical-popular crossover singer who performs across a spectrum of operatic arias, popular songs, musical theatre and hymns. And she has a terrific new album recently released, Daydream.
Break It To My Heart
Break It To My Heart features on Katherine's recently released album Daydream, out now.
Talking to the Moon
Katherine Jenkins released her new album Daydream on October 10, featuring songs that have inspired her from across the musical spectrum. But one song that isn't on it is her cover of Bruno Mars' Talking To The Moon. You can only see and hear that here, in this film we made. Call it an exclusive, if you like.
That's not our office, by the way. It's Steinway Hall in Marylebone where they have more utterly beautiful house-prices pianos than we've ever seen in our lives.
