A new voice, to me at least, is Bess Rogers. I just got hooked onto her album Out of the Ocean. She has one heck of a voice.
Brooklyn-based indie artist Bess Rogers has had a lifetime fascination with evolution. But it wasn't until 4 years of nonstop touring and three independent releases that the science of life began to creep its way into her songs. Her new record, aptly titled Out Of The Ocean, is a bold step forward for Rogers, and one that she has been eager to take.
This is a live performance of my new song "Anchor," the first single from the forthcoming album OUT OF THE OCEAN, The wonderfully talented Allie Moss, Ian Axel and Adam Christgau are accompanying me.
George William Bentley captured this at Fremont Abbey in Seattle WA. Thanks George!
