I'm a sucker for any band called "Hot Club .......".
In my collection I have albums from Hot Club D'allemagne, Hot Club De Norvege, Hot Club of Cowtown, Hot Club of Derbytown, Hot Club of Detroit, Hot Club of Kiev, Hot Club of San Francisco, Hot Club Quartette and Hot Club Roma.
All this in addition to a bunch by the original Quintette du Hot Club de France.
So when I stumbled across the Hot Club of Hulaville I was hooked, they take you back in time. In my case it takes me back to sitting on a Lanai in a bar in Honolulu sipping on drinks and listening to a Gypsy Jazz band, wonderful night.
So I had to get their new album Django Would Go!. I bet he would.

This is a classic Hawaiian Jump-Swing piece written by the great steel-guitarist Dick McIntire. Everybody in the 30's was seemingly trying to "be like Django". Or Fats! This is a fun piece...
Hot Club of Hulaville personnel includes Duane Padilla on Violin, Emmett Mahoney on Guitar, David Chiorini on Bass, Sonny Silva on Guitar, and the beautiful Ginai on vocals..

From the Symphony Hall to the dives of Chinatown, this band features the best of Honolulu's Symphonic players and Jazz Cats. Combine that with the magic of Django Reinhardt and the Gypsy Jazz sound.... and amazing things happen.
The Hot Club's set list features a myriad of intricate and familiar tunes that are just not heard anywhere else. [ReverbNation]
