Yael Naim

Yael Naïm (Hebrew: יעל נעים‎) (born February 6, 1978 in Paris, France), is a Franco-Israeli singer-songwriter of Tunisian Jewish parentage. She rose to fame in 2008 in the US after her hit single "New Soul" was used by Apple in an advertising campaign for its MacBook Air. The success of this song made her the first Israeli solo artist to have a top ten hit in the United States. The song peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

But just to prove Yael Naim is no one hit wonder she has a wonderful new album out called "She Was a Boy". Check out a couple of tracks from the new album, and see if you can stop yourself from rushing out to buy it.
