Hildur Guðnadóttir is, as you would guess from the name, from Iceland. She is an amazing cellist.
She has played and recorded with the bands Pan Sonic, Throbbing Gristle and Múm, as well as her solo project Lost in Hildurness. She has also toured with Animal Collective.
When she is not playing the cello, she also sings and arranges choral music.
