Monty

Driven by a need for change Swedish singer David Pagmar has reinvented himself as Monty, and come March 7 the artist formerly known as Montt Mardié will release his first album, simply titled ‘2010’, under his new moniker. Judging by this first single we should expect excellent pop, not entirely unlike label mate and compatriot Jonathan Johansson. Which is perhaps why his label Hybris accidently named the single ‘En Hand I Himlen’ in the email presenting Monty (or perhaps it’s just caused by the correlation between the song titles). ...... more
