I've been missing out on music recently.
So here's a nice little mix to make up for it.
Thanks to Popbitch for the link, here's Tiga and the new track Shoes.
Look out for his new mix: Tiga - Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 - 4/4/2009
This week’s Essential Mix comes compliments of DJ/producer/vocalist Tiga, hailing from Montreal, Canada. As he says, he plays “techno records, house records, disco records and a little bit of everything”, so expect a mixed bag of electronic music over the next two hours.
Quoted from the You Tube posting by officialtiga
Directed by Alex & Liane, the new video for Tiga's "Shoes" is cooler than Obama with frosted tips. "It imagines a horrifying dystopia in which people other than myself are interviewed," says the Man of Music Future, "I had to calm myself down by staring at my MySpace photos for a couple of hours."

I've been a bit tardy in the posting lately.
But this tickled my funny bone, in addition to being very well mixed.
Thanks to Auto Tuned News and schmoyoho for the great mix.

With his father continuing on his USA tour I figured it was time to feature the son.
Adam Cohen - Bird On The Wire, concert in Barcelona, January 2007
Happiness - music video of Adam Cohen and Virginie Ledoyen [French and English]
To complete the trilogy, let's try some Spanish.
Here is Take This Waltz, sung in Spanish
This by the way is on the WarChild Presents Heroes album.
Adam Cohen (born 1972) is a Canadian musician, the singer-songwriter of Low Millions, as well as a solo artist who has released albums in both English and French. He is the son of Leonard Cohen.
Adam Cohen was born in Montreal, but spent many years of his childhood living with his American expat mother, Suzanne Elrod, in Paris and in the south of France, after his parents separated. He spent parts of his childhood on the Greek island Hydra, in Greenwich Village, and in Los Angeles. He taught himself to play guitar, drums and piano by age 12. He worked as a roadie in 1990, and studied international relations at Syracuse University. He moved to Los Angeles in 1994 to focus on his music career.
Not sure if this is THE Suzanne!! Does anyone know?
If your name is Shankar you just might be a Sitar player. Some of the best in the world even.
Anoushka Shankar (Hindi: अनुष्का शंकर), b. June 9, 1981) is a sitar player and composer in the United States. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar, Indian sitar player, and Sukanya Rajan, a bank employee. Through her father, she is the half-sister of Grammy Award winner Norah Jones.

Ananda Shankar (11 December 1942 - 26 March 1999) was an Bengali musician best known for fusing Western and Eastern musical styles. He was married to Tanushree Shankar.
Born in Almora in Uttar Pradesh, India, Shankar was the son of Amala and Uday Shankar, popular dancers, and also the nephew of renowned sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar.
And then there is one of my all time favorite pieces.
Ananda Shankar - Jumpin Jack Flash
And last but by no means least, the master.
Pandit Ravi Shankar (Bengali: রবি শংকর, "Pandit" is honorific) (born April 7, 1920) is a Bengali Indian sitar player and composer. He is a disciple of Baba Allauddin Khan, the founder of the Maihar gharana of Hindustani classical music.
